Excursion to Bayer AG and Evonik AG
Dr. Andreas Karau visited Bayer AG and Evonik AG as part of the lecture series "White Biotechnology; Strain Optimization and Fermentation" together with students on the Bachelor's and Master's courses at the BCI Faculty.
As part of the event, the Bachelor's and Master's students from the BCI faculty visited Bayer AG's production site in Bergkamen and Evonik AG's Rethicus pilot plant in Marl last week. The plant visit was a good opportunity for the students to further deepen the theoretical content of their studies with a practical insight. We would like to thank Dr. Andreas Karau once again for the lecture and the organization of the excursions and for the friendly reception and the extensive program at Bayer AG and Evonik AG.
